About
Thank you for visiting R'adaive.
I am the great-great granddaughter of an original enrollee of the Choctaw nation. My beading journey has deepened my pride in and my connection to my heritage. I started this dream in 2022 but did not start putting my thoughts to action until 2023.
I chose the name R’adaive to honor the women I descend from. Roseanna. Ada. & Olive.
To the ones who came before me, thank you for your protection, resilience, grace, and love. I know that I am the product of all of those things. As I embark on this journey, I will carry your spirit with me.
Rosanna
Ada (right)
Ada is remembered for her strength even in her senior years, you would rarely find her without an apron and a smile.
Olive
Lovingly nicknamed "Sweetie", Olive is remembered by her tiny frame and the way the sweaters she always wore would hang on her in a graceful way. While her stature was frail, her kindness and love were mighty.
I am so thankful for your support.
With all my love,
Brenna
